The landmark rock formation that features on many postcards
bought in Sedona is Cathedral Rock (pictured). This
formation is located to the southwest of town and can be
enjoyed from Red Rock State Park and Red Rock Crossing.
Day Trip Suggestion
At Red Rock State Park, a network of trails wander by
the waters of Oak Creek and offer shady spots to relax
and many photogenic views.
Nearby, the famous view of Cathedral Rock can be found at
Red Rock Crossing. Here you may photograph the rock and
take a stroll along the creek. A walk leads up towards
the rock itself for a unique perspective.
